In the morning of September, 08th, 2016, the 12th edition of the International Travel Expo in Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2016) was officially opened with the theme “Five countries – One destination” at Saigon exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. Travel fair was hold by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the Ho Chi Minh city Department of Tourism, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, Vinexad Company and Informa Exhibitions Company.
Ninh Binh tourism’s Exhibition booth at Travel Expo ITE HCMC
International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City – ITE HCMC is an annual event and a important highlight of the tourism industry in Vietnam. Through 11 years holding the the event with the cooperation of neighboring countries such as Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, ITE HCMC has become a brand of not only Vietnam but also of the Lower Mekong countries with large scale , high quality, diversified contents and operations, which the domestic and foreign tourism promotion agencies as well as tourism businesses interested in participating.
ITE-HCMC 2016 was to expand the scale in terms of quantity and quality, with the participation of 280 booths from 31 provinces, 38 enterprises and 32 tourism promotion center and foreign enterprises from foreign countries such as Cambodia, Indonesia, Turkey, Japan, Russia, Singapore, the Philippines and the ASEAN economic community consisting of 10 members. Especially, ITE HCMC 2016 focused on Buyer program to attract international and local buyers effectively. Besides, international buyers had the opportunity to study and experience the new tourist destinations of Vietnam after the events to build tourism products specific to the international tourism market. This was a good opportunity for local tourism promotion agencies, enterprises and travel service providers related to search international partners, introduce tourism products and expand bussiness coorperation opportunity to the potential and key tourist market of the world
Introducing and Promoting product in the Ninh Binh tourism’s exhibition
In order to accelerate promoting and introducing activities strengths of tourism and typical tourism products of Ninh Binh to the key markets, while creating opportunities for Ninh Binh tourism businesses and taking the chances of business cooperation with domestic and foreign partners, Ninh Binh Tourism Promotion Information Center took part in ITE HCMC under the direction of Ninh Binh province People’s Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Binh with 03 exhibition booths which is 27m2 large decorated with beautiful pictures of Ninh Binh, notably the photograph of Trang An Landscape Complex title “Trang An – the World Cultural and Natural Heritage”. The Representatives of 09 local businesses: Bai Dinh hotel, Emeralda Resort, Star Travel, Legend Hotel, Hoang Son Peace Hotel, The Reed hotel, The Hidden Charm hotel, Bird Park resort – Thung Nham, Yen Nhi Hotel in collaboration with the Ninh Binh Promotion Tourism and Information Center join the travel fair to directly introduce, offer products, exchange information and find partners in the general exhibition booth of Ninh Binh tourism.
In the framework of the Fair, at the Ninh Binh tourism’s exhibition booth, many activities took place to provide information to visitors through dispatching officers to make presentation, providing information about the local economy, society , tourism; exhibiting and publicating documents and publications such as books, brochures, maps …; setting up appointments with partners to create business opportunities for local tourism enterprises to promote and introduce products, tours, meetings, exchanging and cooperating bussiness with customers , the domestically and internationally large travel agencies.
Minishow attracted many visitors’s attention and participant
The outstanding point of Ninh Binh tourism of this year was organizing minishow introducing potentialities, strengths, specialties, handicraft products and 09 travel agencies in the province . At the booth, 1 MC and 4 PGs held the games to attract the attention and participation of the majority of tourists, the tour operators and agencies in the fair. Besides, visitors had the opportunity to enjoy the specialties of Ninh Binh as burned rice, Trang An wine at the booth.
International Travel Expo ITE HCMC 2016 was the leading travel trade event in Vietnam, the ideal forum for trade business enterprises in tourism sector in introducing products and services not only in the Mekong region, but also countries and many tourist cities inside and outside the Asia Pacific region.
